Ties se adentra en la vida de tres mujeres racializadas en busca de respuestas a preguntas esenciales: ¿Me siento reconocida? ¿Me siento en casa? ¿Cómo me siento en Londres? A medida que se desarrolla la narrativa, se entrelazan cinco hilos: pertenencia, comunidad, herencia, representación y hermandad. A través de entrevistas íntimas y vistazos a diversos barrios londinenses, cada historia revela los lazos compartidos y las trayectorias únicas de cada personaje.
Ties delves into the lives of three Black women on a quest to answer essential questions: Do I feel seen? Do I feel at home? How do I feel in London? As the narrative unfolds, five threads intertwine – belonging, community, heritage, representation, and sisterhood. Through intimate interviews and glimpses of diverse London neighbourhoods, each story reveals shared ties and unique journeys of each character.
